Communication Coordinator
Vivian Maduekwe is a skilled communication professional with a strong background in leveraging strategic communication to drive social impact and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She has demonstrated expertise in storytelling, media monitoring, and community engagement, fostering resilience and amplifying narratives that inspire action for positive change.
As an Independent Media Monitor for Breakthrough Action, Vivian analyzed trends in malaria-related media coverage and evaluated radio broadcast quality to ensure the effective dissemination of critical health messages. During her tenure as a Lot Quality Assurance Surveyor with the World Health Organization (WHO), she supervised polio immunization campaigns, identified service delivery gaps, and provided detailed operational reports to enhance immunization efforts, contributing to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being).
Vivian also served as a Contact Tracer for WHO, where she led case investigations during the COVID-19 pandemic, coordinating with local health departments to implement isolation and quarantine procedures. Her contributions extended to supervising field-level activities for Acute Flaccid Paralysis and vaccine-preventable diseases, ensuring accurate data reporting and effective interventions to protect vulnerable populations.
With a Bachelor of Technology in Public Health from The Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Vivian combines academic expertise with practical experience to advance SDG-related initiatives. She is also the Communication Coordinator for Volunteers4Cause, using communication as a powerful tool to inspire volunteerism and sustainable change.
